July 14, 2026Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky, the couple who built a comedy empire on the premise that nothing about their lives is off limits, have separated after 18 years of marriage. TMZ reported it Monday, citing sources familiar with the situation, and said the split happened within the last couple of months and is amicable.
Neither comedian has said anything publicly. TMZ said it reached out to reps for both and got no response. So for now, this is one outlet's exclusive, and every other write-up you have seen today (Parade, Just Jared, Men's Journal, LiveNOW from FOX) is pointing back at the same reporting. Treat it accordingly until Tom or Christina says otherwise, most likely into a microphone, at length, on their own show.
What TMZ actually reported
The claim, per the outlet's sources: "They had a special and productive relationship, creating one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry and, more importantly, two kids. They are taking different paths moving forward while remaining devoted to their children."
The couple married in 2008 and have two sons, Ellis (born 2016) and Julian (born 2018). They co-founded YMH Studios, the network behind "Your Mom's House," the podcast they have co-hosted for 16 years. TMZ says the show continues with both of them on it.
The part the fans already clocked
Here is the detail that makes this land differently than a standard celebrity split. "Your Mom's House" listeners had already noticed the two of them were not recording together, and TMZ notes the same thing: no joint episodes in the last few months. The audience for that show has spent a decade and a half being told, in graphic detail, about the marriage. Then the marriage quietly left the feed and nobody addressed it.
Now they are reportedly planning to keep doing the show. Together. As exes. A podcast whose entire bit is oversharing is about to test how much oversharing it can survive.
Where both of them are, career-wise
Not a rough stretch professionally, for either one. Season 2 of Segura's Netflix series "Bad Thoughts" just picked up an Emmy nomination for outstanding short-form comedy, drama, or variety series. Pazsitzky has two Netflix specials and runs Christina P. Cosmetics.
What to watch
The next joint "Your Mom's House" episode, whenever it lands. Sixteen years of that show suggests they will not be issuing a tasteful joint Instagram statement in a beige serif font. They will talk about it. The only question is how long they make everyone wait.
