Kylie Jenner Just Got Her Third Workplace Lawsuit in Two Months, and This One Alleges a Miscarriage
A former private chef's complaint, filed June 22 in LA, is the heaviest of three suits from former household staff since mid-April.

June 26, 2026Kylie Jenner is being sued by a former private chef who says the demands of the job contributed to a miscarriage. The complaint, filed June 22 in Los Angeles Superior Court, is the third workplace lawsuit aimed at the 28-year-old in about two months, and it is the heaviest of the three by a wide margin.
To be clear up top: these are allegations in a civil complaint. Nothing has been proven in court, Jenner has not responded to the claims, and a representative for her did not immediately respond to the Los Angeles Times' request for comment.
What the chef says happened
The chef, who is not named in the reporting, says she worked for Jenner from November 2024 through March 2025. According to the filing, she was assigned "excessive hours, physically demanding tasks, and high-pressure events" even after she told Jenner and her management team that she had a high-risk pregnancy that required accommodations. She says the schedule ran 11 to 12 hours a day, five days a week.
The complaint lists more than two dozen claims, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, emotional distress, and failure to pay proper wages. On the wage side, she says she was never given "compliant meal periods, rest periods, overtime compensation, mileage reimbursement, and accurate wage statements."
Two moments anchor the lawsuit. The filing says that on New Year's Eve 2024 she was told to move heavy food items across a street and uphill with no help, which she says left her "choking and gasping for air." Then, around February 1, 2025, five months pregnant, she says she was assigned to work a birthday party for one of Jenner's children in Palm Springs. The next morning, still in Palm Springs, she says she woke up hemorrhaging and drove herself to the emergency room. Per the complaint, doctors told her "there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child."
That part is not a punchline, and nobody should treat it like one. Whatever you think of the rich-and-famous-employer genre of lawsuit, the allegation at the center of this one is grim.
This is the third one in two months
Here is the part that turns a single lawsuit into a pattern worth watching. Jenner has now been sued three times by former household staff since mid-April, and the same attorney, Shaker, is attached to at least two of the filings.
| Plaintiff | Role | Filed | Core allegations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Angelica Hernandez Vasquez | Housekeeper | April 17 | Hostile work environment; discrimination, harassment, retaliation based on race, national origin, religion, and disability |
| Juana Delgado Soto | Housekeeper | April 29 | Wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to pay wages, emotional distress |
| Former private chef (unnamed) | Private chef | June 22 | 2+ dozen claims including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, plus a miscarriage allegation tied to the workload |
Three suits from three former employees in roughly nine weeks is the kind of run that gets noticed, and the wage-and-hour language shows up in all of them. None of it has been tested in court yet, and Jenner has not filed a response to any of the three as of now.
What happens next
For now this is a complaint and a stack of allegations, not a verdict. Jenner's side has not addressed the substance, and an unanswered request for comment is exactly what it sounds like, which is to say not a denial and not an admission. The next real signal will be how her legal team responds in the filing, and whether the two housekeeper cases and the chef case start moving on the same track.
I will update this if Jenner's camp says anything on the record.
