Adele turned up at Bad Bunny's London show and out-partied the entire stadium

Adele has spent almost two years telling everyone she needs to lie down. On Saturday night she instead turned up at a football stadium in north London, borrowed a stranger's hat, and danced harder than anyone in the cheap seats.

The setting was Bad Bunny's sold-out show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 27, part of his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS world tour. Adele was in the stands with her fiancé Rich Paul, and according to TMZ she made no real attempt to keep a low profile. Fan video shows her singing along, throwing her hands up, and generally treating the night like she was the one who paid full price for the experience.

The hat made it

The detail doing the most work online is the hat. As Parade and Yahoo Entertainment reported, a fellow concertgoer handed Adele his pava, the traditional Puerto Rican straw hat that has become a visual signature of this Bad Bunny tour. She put it on, shook it out, and kept dancing. She was also wearing an England football shirt, which is a very specific costume choice for a Puerto Rican reggaeton concert and somehow made the whole thing better.

This is the same Adele who, at the final show of her Munich residency in August 2024, told the crowd she would not see them "for an incredibly long time" and that she just needed a rest, per Consequence. She had earlier told Rolling Stone she had no plans for new music "at all" and wanted to do other creative things for a while. Apparently "other creative things" includes being a paying customer at someone else's gig, which is the most relatable celebrity update of the week.

A normal night out, allegedly

The reason this clip travels is that there is no scandal attached to it, and that is the point. No feud, no shade, no cryptic caption. It is one of the biggest singers alive choosing to stand in a crowd and lose her mind to "Tití Me Preguntó" like a person on holiday. Yahoo noted Adele looked far more interested in soaking up the party than protecting any kind of mystique.

She was not the only famous face in the building either. Yahoo reported that Novak Djokovic also turned up, warming up for Wimbledon by watching Bad Bunny instead of practicing his serve, which feels like its own small act of rebellion.
